From November 29 to December 1, 2024, the 2024 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society for Chinese Information Processing and the 3rd National Conference on Large Model Intelligent Generation (CIPS-LMG 2024) were held in Jiaxing, Zhejiang. The 2024 "Qian Weichang Chinese Information Processing Science and Technology Award" and "Youth Innovation Award" were presented at the meeting.
The "Qian Weichang Chinese Information Processing Science and Technology Award" is the highest science and technology award in the field of Chinese information processing. It is mainly awarded to projects that have original innovations or major breakthroughs in basic methods or key technologies in this field, play an important role in promoting the progress of my country's Chinese information processing business or industry, and create significant economic or social benefits.
In 2024, a total of six "Qian Weichang Chinese Information Processing Science and Technology Awards" were awarded, including two first prizes in natural sciences, two first prizes in technological inventions, and two first prizes in scientific and technological progress; five first prizes in the "Youth Innovation Award".
