which focuses on natural language understanding and generation, is one of the most important research directions in artificial intelligence. It is the theoretical basis of large language models and is known as the "crown jewel of artificial intelligence". ACL, founded in 1962, is the most influential and dynamic international academic organization in the world in this field, with members in 62 countries and regions, representing the highest international level in this field. ACL Fellows are awarded to scientists and engineers who have made outstanding academic and educational achievements and outstanding contributions to the society. ACL Fellows were established in 2011 and are selected annually. According to the list published on the ACL website, including Professor Zhang Min (the only one in China) , only 9 scholars in the world will receive this honor in 2024, and the remaining 8 are from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.

Professor Zhang Min has been engaged in research on natural language processing, machine translation and large models for a long time. He is the chief scientist of Ruoyu Technology, a professor of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), a specially appointed assistant to the president, the dean of the Institute of Computing and Intelligence, a national outstanding young scientist, a candidate of the "National Hundred Thousand Talents Project", a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions to the country, and enjoys the State Council subsidy.
He has published more than 200 CCF A/B conference and journal papers, published 2 Springer monographs, edited 16 English monographs (collections of papers), won 5 provincial, ministerial and national first-level academic society science and technology progress awards, and won the best paper of top academic conferences at home and abroad many times. He serves as an editorial board member of more than 10 domestic and foreign journals in this field, the director of the Large Model and Generation Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China, the chairman of ACL/SIGHAN, the vice president of AFNLP, and a member of the PACLIC International Advisory Committee.
Professor Zhang Min is the head of the "Pengcheng Peacock Team" in Shenzhen, the director of the Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Large Model Intelligence and Security, and the director of the Large Model and Generation Committee of the Chinese Information Processing Society of China. The Computing and Intelligence Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), currently led by Professor Zhang Min, focuses on the computational intelligence and security technology of large models. The team includes more than 40 young and middle-aged frontline scholars. Its independently developed "Lizhi" series of multi-language large models is one of the few large models in China with completely independent intellectual property rights. It has been certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Cyberspace Administration of China, and has been successfully applied in many fields.

Ruoyu Technology was founded in April 2023. The core team originated from Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) and was incubated by Shenzhen Ha Shen Asset Management Co., Ltd. It aims to create a robot brain through multimodal large model technology.
